Personal & Family Camping and Lodging
Long Scraggy welcomes individuals and families to camp at the ranch when the ranch is not being used by larger groups. We are a family camping friendly environment that promotes Christian fellowship, character, and service. If you, or your family, is looking for a camp site for your tent, RV, or trailer our variety of sites may fit your needs. All ranch amenities, such as the Roundhouse, kitchen, and pool, are available to all guests.
Camping accommodations include the following:
- 4 campsites with electric and water hookups. These are located near the Roundhouse. These sites are available for medium size trailers, RVs and tents.
- Open “dry” camping locations are also available near stables. These sites are located about 2 blocks from the Roundhouse and the nearest restroom.
- Wilderness camp contains 10 small tent sites and 1 open area for up to 2 trailers, RVs or large tents.
- The open field near the pond can accommodate several more RVs or campers. Large RVs and trailers can also park at this location.
- Camping guests can use the restrooms and showers located in the nearby Roundhouse and bathhouse.
Long Scraggy provides many options for the perfect family camping experience:
- Hookups– The Ranch offers 4 campsites with electric and water hookups.
- Wilderness camp– Also available are 10 tent sites near the pond, perfect for youth groups, boy scouts or girl scouts.
- RV sites– We can accommodate large RVs at various locations on the Ranch property.
- Dumping station- Long Scraggy has an RV dumping station for a fee of $8

Long Scraggy Mountain Ranch rents out our lodging facilities to individuals and families when the ranch is not being used by larger groups. We are a family friendly environment that promotes Christian fellowship, character and service. If you, or your family, is looking for a cabin to rent, our variety of lodging options may fit your needs. All ranch amenities, such as the Roundhouse, kitchen, and pool, are available to all guests.
Lodging accommodations include the following:
Grand Fir– This stand-alone cabin sleeps up to 4 people. The Grand Fir has a kitchenette with a double sofa sleeper, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a private bathroom. Screened porch provides dining and sitting options to rest and relax.
The Pines– The Pines contains 4 individual cabins complete with a private bath in each cabin. Each room contains a double or queen bed and 2 bunk beds to accommodate 1-6 people. Perfect for families. Guests can use the nearby Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals.
The Aspen– This stand alone cabin sleeps up to 4 people in 2 sets of single bunk beds. Guests can use the nearby Roundhouse bathroom, complete with showers along with the Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals
The Clems– This stand alone cabin can accommodate up to 9 people in single bunk beds. Guests use the bathhouse or Roundhouse bathrooms along with the Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals
Wall tents– There are 2 large wall tents. Each tent contains 9 single bed cots. Very spacious option. Guests use the bathhouse or Roundhouse bathrooms along with the Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals..
The Juniper– Contains 2 separate rooms. Each room sleeps 9 people in single bunks. Guests can use the nearby bathhouse or Roundhouse bathrooms. Guests can use the Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals.
The Ponderosa– This large bunkhouse contains 7 separate rooms which sleep 9 people in single bunks in each room. Guests can use the nearby bathhouse. Guests can use the Roundhouse kitchen, community campfire pit, or picnic Pavilion for meals.
The cabins, Roundhouse, and pavilion are also located close to the 4 campground sites and cabins. This allows groups to utilize both the campgrounds and cabins during their stay.
