During your stay, it is up to you to clean as you desire. No maid service is provided, except that paper supplies in bathrooms will be replenished and kitchen towels laundered as needed. Before you depart, you are responsible to clean all buildings, restrooms, and grounds areas that you have used according to the cleaning instruction sheet (available from Ranch Hosts and posted in cabins and Roundhouse).  Cleaning supplies are found in the “cleaning supply room” in the back of the Roundhouse and in the cleaning supply closet, located at the bathhouse.  Ranch Host will assess the cleaning of each portion of camp used.  A $50 per hour cleaning charge will be added if portions of camp are not cleaned properly.

Garbage from the kitchen must be collected daily and put in the dumpster. All food refuse should be put in the dumpster with the steel lid closed, to prevent bears from raiding the garbage. Outdoor trash cans should be emptied nightly to prevent attracting wildlife.  A $50 per hour cleaning charge will be added if your group does not dispose of trash properly.

Depending on the type of group and reason for visit, pets are permitted (with prior approval) at Long Scraggy Mountain Ranch at your own risk.  

• Your pets must be on a leash and must be friendly to all other guests.  
• Owners must clean up immediately after pets.  
• Long Scraggy charges a $10 pet fee per night per pet for overnight cabin guests. 
• Owners must cover the cost of any damage caused by their pet.
• Due to Jefferson County requirements & the health of all guests, pets are not allowed in the Roundhouse, swimming pool area, or community bathrooms. 

• The Rocky Mountain Christian Conference Grounds Association (RMCCGA) is the legal owner of Long Scraggy Mountain Ranch. RMCCGA is a Christian organization and expects all guests to respect and support its Christian values. 
• RMCCGA is not responsible for personal injury occurring while on the Ranch grounds. Guests must assure that their group is properly insured and that the rules are fully explained to all participants. 
• Guests are responsible to provide adequate adult supervision for all members of their group at all times – including at least one adult sleeping in each cabin with children. Guests are responsible to provide their own adult supervision at the pool, and their own qualified supervisor at the rifle and archery ranges. Guests must provide their own supervision for the use of the team building structures. It is advised that the group have someone who can administer first aid.

Long Scraggy does not supply bedding. We suggest you bring a sleeping bag or a sheet and warm blankets. The majority of our beds are twin size mattresses.  For guests that fly in, Long Scraggy has a limited supply of bedding and towels available to use.

All guests have free access to the indoor heated swimming pool, Archery Range, Rifle Range, Fishing pond (catch and release), basketball/pickle ball courts, volleyball court, baseball/kickball field, 18 hole disc golf course, shuffleboard.  Long Scraggy has great access to hiking trails on and around the property.

Guests have access to the Roundhouse main room and fully furnished commercial kitchen complete with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, large fridge, freezer and pantry space.   Guests are responsible for their own meals, or they can make arrangements with a local catering company.  Long Scraggy Ranch hosts can also direct guests to various local restaurants.
