Christian youth camps enjoy Log Scraggy as a camping destination

Long Scraggy Work Day- Saturday, Nov 14, 2026

Long Scraggy Ranch is holding its Fall work day on Saturday, Nov 14 from 8:00-3:00.

Serve, connect, and enjoy a mountain weekend at Long Scraggy! We’re hosting a volunteer work weekend to get the Ranch ready for next year’s guests. Projects include remodeling the Grand Fir, replacing siding, clearing pine needles, electrical repairs, and cutting down dead trees.

Pack your chainsaws, rakes, shovels, paintbrushes, and gloves. Lunch is on us, and volunteers can stay free on Friday night. Bring your family, your church group, or your friends — everyone can help.

Welcome to Long Scraggy Mountain Ranch near Denver CO

Long Scraggy’s purpose is to provide grounds, buildings, and every kind of means and facilities for Christian fellowship and for the promotion of the Christian character and service through spiritual, mental, societal, and physical activities.

The ranch allows all guests a place to connect with God and his creation. Our mission to host retreats for church youth, families, and adult groups gives opportunity for individuals to experience God personally and create new relationships with Him.

We are a quiet, secluded summer camp rental facility located 1 hour outside of Metro Denver in the Colorado Rocky Mountains – Google Map Directions. Bordered by National Forest on three sides, the 40-acre camp accommodations include cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. Our facility has hosted Christian Youth Groups camps, church campouts, retreats, and family reunions since 1971. Book your summer camp rental for a week or a weekend now!

Ways to Camp at Long Scraggy Ranch

You can reserve an individual cabin or a room in one of our multiple room cabins. We also have Canvas wall tents available.

You can reserve a tent campsites or trailer and RV campsites with water and electricity. You can also stay in the wilderness camp site to be more “off grid” experience.

All ranch facilities are available to all guests. This includes use any of our gathering areas such as: the Roundhouse and kitchen, the Pavilion, the Chapel, and two fire pits. Guest stays include free use of our onsite activity amenities which include a rifle range, archery range, indoor swimming pool, shuffleboard, 18-hole disc golf, fishing pond, hiking trails, basketball, volleyball, and kickball field. Additionally, located a couple of miles from the ranch are World-Class mountain bike trails, the Colorado Trail, and unlimited hiking trails.
